Jo comes to us from beautiful Batemans Bay NSW where she lived all her life. The fires of New Year’s Eve 2019 devastated her beautiful and inspirational Town on the water and other coastal towns south of Sydney. This kind of trauma can be debilitating but you would never know as her beautiful smile and happy persona over power any bad days she has had to endure.

Joanne has also Kicked Breast Cancer to the curb!!! And during her treatment honed her resin art skills Then went through the fires and if that’s not bad enough she lost her Mother then Father and Brother consecutively which is why she has come to us to be with her daughter and soon to have a grandy she is a true Hero in my eyes, and we are so lucky to have her here.

Jo has always been drawn to the Arts as it is her superpower, it is a place she can go to when times are tough, and it helps her to shut out the other noise of her mind, like her own meditation. Her Daughter introduced her to resin work when Jo was on Cemo treatment, and she has perfected the beach vibe and sea foam in every piece.

Jo’s 1st trip to the markets in NSW was a sellout (Unsurprisingly) now she creates in her spare time and works on special orders for friends she also works as the best dental nurse I have ever come across in Yanchep where we met and sparked an instant friendship.
